The Property
Goldpan Cottage 10 Longrow Wanlockhead
1. Your booking
Offers and bookings are subject to availability. No bookings can
be made to anyone under the age of 18. No contract is entered
into until written confirmation is issued by the owner. The
owner has the right to refuse any booking prior to your written
confirmation being issued. When you receive confirmation you
must check the details carefully and if the details are not
correct you should inform the owner immediately.
2. Paying for your property
To book your holiday complete and sign the booking form and send
with your deposit, which is payable by cheque. On receipt of
your deposit and booking form written confirmation will be sent
to you showing your booking details and the balance of your
total holiday cost which must be received by the owner 8 weeks
before your arrival date. If you book less than 8 weeks prior to
your arrival date your booking must be paid for in full.
3. Cancellation or changes to your booking by the owner.
This is not expected but occasionally unforeseen problems do
occur and bookings have to be changed or cancelled. Should this
happen you will be telephoned in the case of a significant
change or cancellation. (minor changes you will be notified by
post) explaining what has happened and inform you of the
cancellation or change. If cancellation is made an alternative
time will be offered and if this is not convenient your monies
will be refunded in full. No further claims can be made. The
owner cannot be made responsible in any way for circumstances
beyond the control of the owner (Force Majeure) by way of
example fire, flood, exceptional weather conditions, epidemics,
destruction or damage of the property.
4. Liability
The owner shall have no liability for personal injury, any death
or any damage or loss of personal property. Every effort is made
to ensure the property is in good condition and comfortable for
your holiday, the Owner cannot accept any liability for any
shortcoming or defects with the property that may occur. Should
there be any problems whilst you are at the property, please
contact the Owner who will endeavour to rectify the problem as
soon as possible.
5. If you change or cancel your booking
If you wish to cancel your booking once your confirmation has
been issued your deposit will not be returned. If you wish to
change the date of your holiday within the holiday year, the
owner will endeavour to do this, subject to availability
otherwise it will be deemed a cancellation.
Cancellation of booking – more than 56 days before holiday start
date – deposit non returnable
29-56 days 50% of total cost non returnable
15-28 days 75% of cost non returnable
14 days to arrival date or later – total cost non returnable
.
6. Your Property
You can arrive at your property after 2pm on the start date of
your holiday rental and you must leave by 10am on the last day.
You are responsible for any breakage or damage in or to the
property, along with any additional costs that may result, which
are caused by you or any members of your holiday rental party.
The Owner is entitled at her discretion to refuse to hand over
to you or to repossess the property, which includes the
fixtures, fittings, furnishings if the owner reasonably believes
that any damage is likely to be caused, has been caused or is
being caused by you or any member of your holiday rental party.
These circumstances will be treated as a cancellation by you and
no refund of any monies you have paid will be made.
The accommodation is limited to a maximum of 4 people plus one
baby in a cot. A travel cot only is available on request. Cot
bedding is not supplied by the Owner.
The property must be left in a clean and tidy condition.
The property is a “No Smoking” property and pets are not
allowed.
7. Complaints
Every effort has been made to ensure that you have an enjoyable
and memorable holiday. If however you have any cause for
complaint the owner is anxious that remedial action can be taken
as soon as possible. It is essential that you contact the Owner
immediately.
8. Insurance
It is recommended that you purchase your own personal
travel/holiday insurance when you book your holiday.
